Most older boilers are complete with old systems, old radiators, old valves, and old controls and are likely full of sludge if they haven’t been flushed in recent years. With all these things considered, replacing a boiler that has an energy efficiency rating lower than an A is the best possible way to minimise energy costs. If set correctly, the projected figures are that it can save you up to 30% on your heating bills, depending on the age and rating of your current boiler.
Combi boilers are not the answer to every heating system, but based on house size and hot water output, they can offer substantial savings on the cost of hot water. As they heat the water instantly as it comes into the boiler, it does away with a hot water cylinder and tanks in the loft. This means you will only pay for the hot water to use instead of heating up a whole tank.
I’d highly recommend Dave. Really quick to respond to calls and messages. Came out the next day at a time to suit us. Very thorough and clearly knows his trade well. Fixed a gas leak we weren’t aware of before installing and checking over a second hand huge rangemaster we had bought. Triple checked everything. The appliance does have an issue which will hopefully be resolved with a deep clean by specialists, however Dave is on stand by to source the part and fit it should it be necessary. Charged 30% less than others we contacted over the same job. Amazing polite and professional service for considerably less than expected. Many thanks!!
