Safety & Efficiency – a well-maintained and regularly serviced boiler will work safely and more efficiently. If a boiler is incorrectly calibrated, it may be working harder than it is designed to, thus increasing your bills unnecessarily. Fossil fuels (such as natural gas) could produce poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) if they are not working properly, so to keep your family safe, your Gas Safe registered engineer will check your boiler’s general condition and CO levels.
Keep your warranty valid – all warranties require that your boiler is annually serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Failure to do so could invalidate your warranty, resulting in expensive repair bills, should your boiler break down.
Fewer breakdowns – as you would expect when you take your car for its service when you have your boiler serviced, all the main components are checked for wear and tear and replaced if necessary. If a boiler is incorrectly calibrated, it may be working harder than it is designed to, thus increasing your bills unnecessarily. That means that it is less likely to breakdown when you need it the most, particularly in the cold
winter months. On modern boilers, the main combustion chambers are sealed and from time to time these seals also need replacing. When these seals perish, they can cause a lot bigger problems so it’s crucial they are changed at regular intervals.
David is super friendly and we would highly recommend this service. We’ve had a few jobs with them as we’ve recently moved into a new home. Every job has been completed to the highest standard. He was very helpful and always left a tidy workspace. Will definitely use them for future jobs.
Thank you again – Katy.
